The Circle Completes
The Flexenbahn creates a unique link between the ski resorts of Lech-Zürs and St. Anton am Arlberg. High above the Flexenpass road, the modern gondola covers a distance of almost 1.8 kilometres, overcoming an altitude difference of over 562 metres. Each of the 47 cabins accommodates 10 passengers, allowing an hourly capacity of up to 2,400 people with a journey time of just over 6 minutes.
In the comfortable cabins, you can enjoy panoramic views through large windows of the passing scenery. Take in the magnificent panorama of the Klostertal valley and the Arlberg pass towards St. Christoph, while already looking forward to your next run.
Ski Unlimited Around the Arlberg
Not only the Flexenbahn but also the Trittkopfbahn in Lech-Zürs offers an even greater selection of pistes at the Arlberg! After riding the Trittkopfbahn I, you can now continue directly towards St. Anton with the Flexenbahn. Those who prefer to stay on the Lech side of the ski area take the Trittkopfbahn II to the mountain station and enjoy the excellently groomed runs there. These two lifts, along with the Albonabahn II in Stuben, provide skiers and snowboarders with modern infrastructure – allowing pure skiing pleasure to be fully enjoyed throughout the Arlberg!
But the Flexenbahn is not just a highlight for the many piste enthusiasts. The environment also benefits from this modern ski connection. Thanks to the Flexenbahn, 120 fewer bus trips are needed daily through the Flexengalerie between Zürs and Stuben/Alpe Rauz.
